The 2012 Football Ages and Division will be the following:
Jr. Flyweight - 5, 6, 7 year olds
Flyweight - 8, 9 year olds
Mighty Mites - 10, 11 year olds
Jr. Varsity - 12, 13 year olds
Varsity - 14, 15 year olds (Note: Varsity teams will be 
optional and decided on a league by league basis)

The 2012 Cheerleading Ages and Divisions will be the following:
Jr. Flyweight  - 4 (per league discretion) 5, 6 and 7 year olds
Flyweight - 8, 9 year olds
Mighty Mites - 10, 11 year olds
Jr. Varsity - 12, 13 year olds
Varsity - 14, 15 year olds  (Note: Varsity teams will be 
optional and decided on a league by league basis)

About Us


The Pasco Police Athletic League (PPAL) is a nonprofit organization governed by Sheriff Chris Nocco of the Pasco
Sheriffs Office, in Pasco County, Florida. PPAL comprises of teams throughout Pasco County. PPAL involves children of the ages of 5 through 15 years old for football and cheerleading throughout the
 year. Please check with your local program for information about new and existing programs.

PPAL was established in 1973 by John Short when he teamed up with the Chief of Police of
New Port Richey.
